Baboo! Hi friend, There is a new secret skin tone and blush set waiting to be earned in your Heartopia gameplay right now! It's so easy to unlock, but there are a few reasons why you may not get it, so don't miss these must know tips.

So... What Is the Sunbathing Reward?

Heartopia has plenty of cool things going on right now, including a special sunbathing reward, that you might unlock if you plan accordingly for it! The combination of the perfect weather conditions and the right location will have your character showing off in this new makeup and skin set!

While unlocking the set is time-limited, the sunbathing reward is permanent and will include a sun-burnt skin tone and a rosy blush combo.

Where Can I Find the Reward

Once you have completed the instructions below and unlocked the reward; open up your character appearance menu to find your new options! There you will find Heartopia's exclusive sunbathing skintone (under the skintone menu) and matching blush (under the facial makeup section).

The Keys to Make Sure You Unlock It

Now wait a minute friend, because there is something you need to know before you try to unlock this!

What you should not do, is go venture to the sunbathing area at any ole' time to "sun" bathe. Accumulating this reward is time-based and I've seen many people technically "moon-bathing" (myself included) only to wonder why there is no reward.

That's right friend: if you do this at night, on a normal sunny day, during the rain, or on a cloudy day, you are not "sun" bathing and will not see the reward. This task must be done on a sunny day, in extremely hot weather.

To unlock the sunbathing reward, you’ll need to visit the designated sunbathing area, while the weather is hot and sunny enough for the activity to count. Before heading over, check the forecast on your watch so you do not make the trip for nothing (video on that below). Once the conditions are right, find the sunbathing spot, start the interaction, and keep an eye out for a few signs that confirm your character is actually tanning.

Okay, Now How Can I Unlock It?

To make sure you unlock this reward set you need to know these three key things!

1. The Perfect Weather Condition:

In order for this to work, bestie, you have to make sure it is a hot day on the in-game weather forecaster. You can check this by opening and extending the weather forecast watch panel OR notoriously you will see your person sweating when simply walking. This is a good indicator that its the perfect day to sunbathe for the reward!

2. The Sunbathing Map Location:

The sunbathing area is located on the beach right next to the portal entry for the underwater sea zone. Look for a unique patch of sand with this icon above it:

3. The Multi-Day Requirement:

If you did not know this reward takes a few days to cumulate, meaning you won’t unlock both rewards after just one trip to the beach. You’ll need to sunbathe for three hot days to unlock the burnt, sun-kissed skintone and for seven hot days to unlock the blush. These do not need to be consecutive days, so just keep checking the weather and return whenever another hot day appears.

How Do I Know It’s Working?

Once your character is under the sand, look for the "sand bath" icon to appear. This confirms that the activity is in progress and that the day should count toward unlocking the reward. Now while unconfirmed, I cannot tell you if this reward will be un-lockable after the "Call of The Whales" event, but I can give you the tip that I have been specifically staying in the sun bath until the interaction timer finishes to make sure the reward is counted during the event.
